Privacy Policy

Public mode does not require a login. However, technical and query logs may be recorded for security, audit, troubleshooting and service improvement.

Information the public assistant may process

The question or text you submit to VEL AI.
Technical information such as IP address, platform/device headers when provided, request status and time.
The knowledge area used to answer the question and references to approved source documents retrieved for the response.

Why this information may be used

Information may be used to provide responses, protect the service, investigate errors or abuse, maintain audit records, improve approved knowledge content and understand service reliability.

Public assistant and identity

The public admission assistant is designed to operate without a user login. Users should not include unnecessary personal data in their questions.

Sensitive data

Please do not submit passwords, OTPs, payment-card information, banking credentials or other secrets. If you need to share documents or personal records for an official process, use the College's approved official channel rather than the public AI assistant.

VEL AI does not conduct sales or collect payments. It will never ask for money, bank transfers, UPI payments, card payments, purchases or sales directly or indirectly. Use only official College-approved payment channels.

Retention and access

Operational logs may be retained as needed for security, audit, troubleshooting and service administration. Access should be limited to authorized administrators responsible for the AI service.
